Snow was a little deep in spots, making some climbs challenging. Other than the snow, trails are clear. Only a few branches down, no trees from the snow. Given the warming temps, they should be partially melted by now.
The Stub Stewart LST (Local Stewardship Team) has been active in clearing the down trees throughout the winter riding season. If you want to be added to their volunteer list email: [email protected]
REMINDER: The trails are open only on the weekends and closed during the week due to an ongoing timber thinning operation (helicopter logging). Unfortunately, progress has been slow and they still need to take out logs near the campground. Logging work in MTB area hasn’t happened yet, although that is next on their action plan.
