On February 26th, a hardy group of NWTA volunteers constructed a temporary bridge bypass route. This officially reopens the Shoofly Trail allowing riders to avoid the Shoofly bridge, which became unsafe to cross.

Rangers at LL Stub Stewart State Park are working on plans to replace the original bridge: Timing for bridge replacement is TBD.

In addition to completing the standard Stub Loop (see map), the reopening of the Shoofly will allow us to host the LapQuest event on June 11th (Hint: save the date).

The reopening of the Shoofly Trail could not have occurred without dedicated volunteers helping to make LL Stub Stewart a great place to ride.
